VCF U-19s will play the final of the COTIF this Wednesday, July 30, against the Argentina national team. This prestigious U-20 international tournament, held every summer in l'Alcúdia, brings together an attractive line-up of national teams and clubs. Valencia CF are the club with the most appearances and overall victories in the COTIF, with 6 titles and 6 runner-up finishes.

The Valencia CF youth team beat Mauritania in the semifinals in a thrilling match in which Óscar Sánchez’s side initially imposed their game, taking the lead with goals from Poveda after a corner and Dominykas Taucas early in the second half.
In that second half, the African side used their physical strength to draw level, but in the closing stages the Valencia CF youth team showed the competitive spirit that saw them crowned champions of Group 7 in the División de Honor and reach the Copa de Campeones final last season. Vílchez scored the third and final goal, sparking celebration among the Valencianistas.
